Experience the story of THE HUNGER GAMES — 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered as tribute, and decades before Coriolanus Snow became the tyrannical President of Panem.

THE HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS & SNAKES follows a young Coriolanus (Tom Blyth) who is the last hope for his failing lineage, the once-proud Snow family that has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol. With his livelihood threatened, Snow is reluctantly assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), a tribute from the impoverished District 12. But after Lucy Gray’s charm captivates the audience of Panem, Snow sees an opportunity to shift their fates. With everything he has worked for hanging in the balance, Snow unites with Lucy Gray to turn the odds in their favor. Battling his instincts for both good and evil, Snow sets out on a race against time to survive and reveal if he will ultimately become a songbird or a snake.

  1. Not a Hunger Games fan but the casting for this looks damn near perfect. IMO good movies stem from the chemistry and authenticity to the characters, this has so much potential.

  2. I’m a fan of Hanger Games, both books and movies. Here are my 2 cents.

    1. The first 2 movies were amazing.
    2. They shouldn’t have divided the last book into two films though.
    3. This trailer gives away almost the same feeling as the the first movie!
    4. Super curious about Snow’s character development!
    5. The blond guy with short hair looks totally like Eminem.

  3. This looks like it could be really good or extremely bad

  4. Stench of wokeness infuriates me and makes me gag.
    Straight white dude= villain
    Non white woman=heroe
Hard pass on this, cram your wokeness bs down someone's else throat,i ain't buying what you selling.

P.S: 100 bucks that Dylan Mulvaney has a cameo in this movie.

  5. make up and costume department: Okay do we want to portray Snow as a pretty bishonen type or a tough rugged soldier?
    Producers: Yes.

  6. So is that like Katniss grandma or something?? And Viola looks terrifying lol I may give it a peek

  7. "For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head."

  8. Here Lucy’s skin tone and hair color is HOW Katniss should’ve looked

  9. You know the movie is good when Peter Dinklage is on it

  10. I have loved the old Coriolanus Snow's deepest quote that reflects from past to future in this trailer:
IT'S THE THINGS WE LOVE MOST THAT DESTROY US.

  11. Peter Dinklage is going to blow our socks off going by the trailer

  12. I absolutely loved this book despite many others not liking it so much. I can’t wait to see how they bring it to the screen.

  13. This was sold to me the second Peter Dinklage apeared on screen! I am exited to see him in a more villainous role this time.

  14. Hello,
read the following and compare with “now” 2 Timothy 3:1-9:
“1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.”
    Does this not describe “today”?
    But the Good News is:
that if you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, was buried and rose again the third day, you will be saved and have eternal life!
This is the Good News aka the Gospel:
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
“1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
Do you not want to get eternal life?
Only Jesus Christ can save you and give you eternal life!
    John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

    Maranatha

  15. I dunno why this short clip makes me like snow.

  16. "This thanksgiving" comes out november 17th. Thanksgiving is October 9th 2023

  17. Having seen films such as Death Race, The Running 🏃‍♂️ Man & bits & pieces of the Hunger Games 🎮, I am wondering 🤔 if society, in general, is heading in the direction where people's lives are not valued as much as they should be, & their lives may be traded as commodities for entertaining the masses ❔

  18. Snow with his buzzed hair looks like Eminem lol

  19. I CANT WAIT. this book was everything hunger games needed for context !!

  20. Old Snow's phrase at the end made me nervous

  21. The wait is over, happy Hunger Games😉

  22. Lol I this is mid OK
I prefer Jennifer Lawrence one not this parody

  23. La verdad no me gustó :c veo que tiene todo lo del libro, pero en cuanto a la fotografía, encuadres, elementos y personajes, parece más una serie de netflix que una precuela de THE HUNGER GAMES. Esto desentona con todo lo anterior

  24. It’s here! Oh, my God it’s here! We’re FINALLY gonna learn how to pronounce everybody’s names right!! 😂

  25. Im just gonna say it….. There’s no hunger games without Katiness And Peter. ❤

  26. just absolute chills all throughout the trailer OMG the hype is real folks!!!

  27. Is This a Prequel??
The Hunger Games ended with the battle for Democracy and Freedom!

  28. I thought it was gonna be the first games not the 10th ones…

Anyways I do remember the synopsis that it's snow's beginning so maybe that was it when I read the back of the book
Still need to read it can't wait

  29. Why would Anyone want to see How the country fell into Authoritarian Dictatorship Rule and Who decided to initiate the Hunger Games??

  30. The Books were Incredible!!
The First film did not do justice to the book, IMO

  31. The Books were Awesome!
    The Films? …not so much.

  32. I approve the designation of Viola Davis as Dr Gaul, only she could bring that character to life in the best way.

  33. Ehhh I’m good. Zoomer actors with the same facial expressions and no range

  34. GUYS i was an extra with the mentors in this movie like my biggest childhood dream is coming true!!🥹🧡
